Russell Brand is back on U.S. soil for the very first time since filing for divorce from singer Katy Perry. He's been in London since filing divorce papers. He arrived on Friday night at LAX to a barrage of waiting paparazzi.
According to a report from TMZ, neither Brand nor Katy Perry has been seen out and about too much since word of their split first broke. He was spotted a few times in London, but she hasn't been seen at all.
That all changed on Thursday when Katy posed with a fan during a break from filming an Adidas commercial in Santa Barbara. Now that Russell is back in the U.S., do you expect he'll maintain a low profile or become front and center to the media attention?
While strolling through LAX upon his return Friday, a number of the paparazzi asked Russell Brand questions about his impending divorce from Katy Perry. What they got as a result of those questions, however, was complete silence.
Hopefully Brand maintains that silence. There's absolutely nothing worse in a divorce situation than one or both parties slinging mud at the other. It's unnecessary, immature, and absolutely no one's business but their own.
Do you think Katy Perry and Russell Brand will be in the news more or less now that he has returned to the U.S. from London? Are they both just sitting ducks for the media's multitude of questions?
It would be nice to see Katy and Russell handle things in a mature manner, but since they're celebrities there will no doubt be some very public fallout. Just how bad do you think the divorce proceedings will become between these two?
