Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore ran into each other at a pre-Golden Globes party and actually talked for a while.
While attending the bash at Soho House on Friday night, Ashton spotted Demi sitting at a table with Madonna and Sean, who were actually once married to one another. So in an effort to prove that he and Demi can be just as cool with one another post-divorce, he approached their table and chatted with the group for a bit. Here's what a source told the NY Post about their encounter: "Ashton and Demi didn't arrive together, or spend the whole night together, but it was 100 percent normal. There wasn't an issue."
Demi Moore has gotten along extremely well with her ex Bruce Willis in the past, so perhaps she's hoping to do the same with Ashton Kutcher. Ashton's currently been linked to her younger lookalike, screenwriter Lorene Scafaria, so it had to be hard for Demi to talk to him. However, it sounds like she put on a brave face and was as civil as she could possibly be.
Perhaps Demi was hanging with Madonna and Sean Penn because they both know how hard failed relationships can be—they've both loved and lost post-40, so maybe they were giving her some advice on how to cope. They also both know what it's like to date someone much younger—Sean dated Scarlett Johansson, while Madge has been dating 24-year-old dancer Brahim Zaibat. So perhaps the 53-year-old pop icon was able to convince 49-year-old Demi Moore that it's not too late to find love—she's still got plenty of years to find herself a new toyboy.
