Kris Humphries has allegedly been telling his friends that Kim Kardashian planned her own proposal for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and she made sure that everything Kris did would work with cameras around.
Perhaps Kris is hoping that he can at least convince those closest to him that the Kardashian reality shows are faked for the cameras. After all, it wouldn't be surprising if he wants to make them look bad considering what's happened to him since he and Kim split up - he's gotten booed at basketball games and has had to deal with rumors that he's gay, just to name a few of his post-Kim problems.
So according to Radar Online, Kris Humphries has been telling his pals that he actually wanted to pop the question to Kim in Minnesota or on the beach. However, a source close to Kris claims that Kim and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians production staff shot his plans down - Kim chose to have him propose in her bedroom in the middle of the day so that there'd be plenty of sunlight for the cameras, and she didn't want it to take place outside where the paparazzi could see it (after all, it would ruin the "surprise" for her viewers).
By staging the rose petal proposal in Kim's house, this also made it possible for Kim's family members, namely puppet master Kris Jenner, to be involved in the proposal planning. This way Mama Jenner could pretend that proposal was all about her.
However, during the very special episode, things don't go as planned, so Kris Humphries doesn't get to pop the question to Kim Kardashian in front of her entire family.
So here's what might have happened - Kris Jenner and Kim could have squabbled over how the staged proposal would go down in front of the cameras. After Kim decided she didn't like her mother's way of doing things, perhaps she and the Humph went behind her momager's back to do it the way that Kim wanted. Or maybe the change of plans was all a part of mommy's master plan meant to make the proposal seem as real as possible.
Whatever the case, Kim and her momager have to be nervous about new evidence that has surfaced that makes it seem that part of the Dubai episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York was staged. With viewers already questioning the authenticity of their "reality" shows, maybe people will start to believe Kris Humphries' claim that Kim planned how he would pop the question.
So what do you think - was the proposal planned by Kim, and should she be worried about the Humph proving just how fake her show is?
