Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and husband Prince William now share their active outdoor life with the newest member of the family—Kate's black Labrador puppy. The dog is yet to be named, but he loves to dance along with his Royal "parents" as they hike and walk along the shore, reports Entertainment STV.
The puppy was a birthday present from Prince William to Kate Middleton, his bride. A source gushes: "The dog is ever so cute." Well, yes. Puppies are always cute, and black Lab puppies have a coat that is soft as velvet. And they never mind getting cold and wet, which is the usual condition of Wales this time of year. Kate Middleton already has her new pal's training underway.
"The Duke and Duchess have
been seen with it several times and he runs along at their heels. They are constantly in fits of laughter as it tries to catch them up," the source goes on. Walks are so much more fun with a puppy along, and expectations are that the dog will travel along with Kate Middleton and Prince William as they travel back and forth between Wales and London.
Most important, he will keep Kate company while the prince is away, serving in the Falkland Islands, off the coast of Argentina. The dog will be loved and well cared for. But will he expect freshly prepared stews and other dishes every day, as the Queen's corgis do? If so, odds are Kate will cook them herself. Stay tuned.
