Beyonce may have just given birth to a baby, but that's not going to stop some celebrities from saying what they think of the former Destiny's Child diva.
Comedian Roseanne Barr wasn't kidding when she said via Twitter that she found Beyoncé and Jay-z to be arrogant. Why would she say such a thing? Well, it seems as though she felt that Beyoncé stole Etta James' moment when she sang "At Last" to President Obama. Roseanne felt that Etta should have sung that song to the new president, not Beyoncé.
In a way, she is right. Etta James is much older than Beyoncé and should have been able to enjoy the moment of singing her song to the first African-American president. While it's not clear why she didn't appear and sing her own song, it's sad that she missed out on such an amazing opportunity.
The remarks didn't sit well with Beyoncé fans, who immediately began calling Roseanne horrible names on Twitter. For her credit, Roseanne didn't take it sitting down, in fact she hit back just as hard with her own verbal warfare.
Things did seem to get a little out of hand though, as these things usually do, when a fan appeared to threaten Roseanne, saying "I'll cut you up into cheese slices to use on my salad."
It's one thing to be passionate about a celebrity, but it's another to go over the edge and threaten bodily harm on someone just because you don't like their view or opinion.
Hopefully, this little Twitter tussle can be swept under the rug and no one will get hurt!
