TV host / Valenzuela City Councilor Shalani Soledad married Pasig City Rep. Roman Romulo yesterday at a beautiful sunset wedding in front of 700 of their nearest and dearest friends and family. The couple wrote their own, beautiful vows to each other.
The couple's fairytale wedding, which was sealed with a kiss at sundown, had no tears shed. For his vows, the groom said, "It took me 44 years to find you. I have found you Shalani. I have found happiness. I will love you forever."
The bride's own vows were just as poignant. With her veil covering her face, she said, "I knew when I met you that you were the one for me. And I promise to love you from now on until forever."
What a beautiful, personal declaration of love between Shalani Soledad and Roman Romulo. They began their journey together as husband and wife in a truly lovely wedding ceremony. The couple tied the knot at the St. Benedict Church at Ayala Westgrove Gate in Santa Rosa City. The church was bedecked with Casablancas and white roses. Zenas Pinedas arranged the flowers, but wedding dress designer Inno Sotto supervised their creation, which made sure everything went together perfectly.
The couple was married on Chinese New Year's Eve, and there were fireworks in celebration of the Chinese New Year, which were lovely. After their wedding and lavish reception, the couple went on a honeymoon at the Amanpulo resort in Palawan where they will relax and enjoy each other on the beach even though they originally planned on a European trip to celebrate their wedding. The warmth of the beach sounds like a much better plan for the newlyweds Shalani Soledad and Roman Romulo. Congratulations and best wishes. The video below gives details about the elegant affair.
