Courtney Stodden gained fame for, at 16 years old, marrying 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchinson. Now, she is known for jogging in her stilettos and being the 'Queen of Alliteration,' though that isn't what she wants to be known for. No, the 17-year-old actually has some career ambition and that is to be a singer.
You may remember her first song "Don't Put It On Me." The accompanying music video featured Stodden sitting on a boat, beverage (since she's 15 in the video, let's hope it's non-alcoholic) in hand, and her dog by her side. Even the most dedicated Courtney fans will admit that the song was slightly painful.
Well for those of you who have been waiting for another song from the blonde bombshell, your wait may soon be over. That's right, Stodden was back in the studio this weekend recording some new songs. She didn't reveal too much information, but did say:
'It's wonderful to be back in the studio again. People have been contacting me all the time asking when my next song is coming out.'
There are a lot of Courtney Stodden haters, but at least she is working hard to have her own career. Although she may appear to be another girl chasing fame, she is actually pretty smart. Her tweets are well put together and she uses her fame for good, posing for charities and using her name to bring awareness to many things.
She hasn't announced when her new song will be released, but keep an eye on her Twitter for updates!
In case you forgot, here is her song "Don't Put It On Me."
