Just when Lindsay Lohan's legal troubles was about to end and her career picking up again, with reports of her being in talks to portray Elizabeth Taylor in a TV movie, she's back in the hot seat again. This time, it's for an incident that she probably doesn't even remember.
Nubia Del Carmen Preza filed a lawsuit against the actress Wednesday at Los Angeles Superior Court. She is claiming that during her employment as a nanny, Lindsay Lohan hit her with her car as she was walking across the street pushing a baby stroller in September 2010. Instead of helping her and the child, the actress allegedly fled as if nothing had happened. In the court papers, the nanny is claiming to have suffered "disabling and serious personal injuries, pain, suffering and anguish." She is seeking unspecified damages.
The lawsuit raises a lot of questions. Namely, why did the nanny wait more than a year to file the lawsuit, especially if she's been suffering injuries that would necessitate medical treatment and prevent her from continuing on with life? Why wasn't the police called to the scene? Whatever the truth is, it looks like there'll be more paparazzi shots of Lindsay Lohan and her lawyer back at the courthouse.
