Justin Bieber and Zac Efron have more in common than merely being teen idols. They have identical tastes in tee shirts, and Efron has an interesting though tenuous link to JB's girlfriend Selena Gomez. Last but hardly least, they're also great inspirations to other men. That's right. It seems that there are lots of guys out there who reportedly want to copy their hairstyles.
Of course, Zac Efron and the Biebs aren't the only celebrities with heads of hair that "women want to run their fingers through and men want to copy." There are others. In fact, Bieber and Efron belong to a sort of "Sexy Hair Cuts For Men" club whose celebrity member include Bradley Cooper, of all people, and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino. Interestingly, there are many men seeking to emulate Efron's and the Sitch's coiffures in both style and color. Justin Bieber, not so much. That may be because more men seem to want dark hair. Now that JB has dyed his light brown locks a much darker shade, his stock in the hair wars will no doubt rise. Also, because Justin is still a teen, many men have probably dismissed his classic mop-top, bowl-cut hairflip as being too young for their tastes and/or faces. Recently, the 17-year-old pop star dropped his "sleeked back" look and returned to the hairflip. But more recently still at the NRJ Awards in France, he sported the "sleeked back" 'do. Probably, his appeal to tonsorially-obsessed men rises when he wears his hair in a more mature style.
One celebrity who is as famous for his hairstyles as Justin Bieber was surprisingly omitted from the list. His name? Robert Pattinson. If ever there was a man endowed with a head of hair that drives women to desperation, it's the Twilight heart-throb. But alas, he didn't even make the list. Go figure.
Oh, well there you have it. You can check out the stars' hair here. Whose style do you like best?
Note: For those who are still wondering about the weird "tenuous" 6 degrees of separation type connection between Zac Efron and Selena Gomez, here it is. Gomez once confessed that when she was younger, she fantasized that Zac Efron was her husband. Fortunately for Justin Bieber, that dream never came true.
