House of Lies star Kristen Bell said she had a "full-fledged panic attack" because she was so happy about a sloth that came to her 31st birthday party.
Sloths are not exactly the cutest animals on the planet - yet Bell said she's been waiting her whole life to interact with one. Her fiancé Dax Shepard knew of her long-time love of sloths and had one brought to the home for her to play with for the day. It was set up in a jungle-gym, so she could play with it. Since sloths are extremely slow-moving animals, hopefully it played enough with her so she could have fun with it.
When Kristen Bell was telling the sloth birthday story on the Ellen Show, she brought a video clip of her crying so hard about the sloth showing up on her birthday, that she couldn't talk. Ellen DeGeneres alluded to the fact that there might be a sloth waiting for her backstage. She was so excited she started shaking and crying.
This has to be a first. No one gets excited over a sloth. Sure, they're a little cute, but to go so far as to have interacting with one as your life-long dream is a little weird. Well, no one ever said celebrities are normal.
