Teen Mom Amber Portwood is making big plans for her life once she gets out of jail. According to reports, Amber wants to turn over a new leaf, and become a better mother to her daughter, Leah, who is currently in the custody of her father, Gary Shirley.
"The family's first priority is getting Amber out of jail," a source close to the family revealed. "After that, she will be living with her grandmother until she gets her life back together." (Haven't we heard this before?)
Can Amber Portwood make it this time? She obviously has some serious problems with anger, depression, and substance abuse. Instead of moving into her grandmother's house, it seems like the Teen Mom should be packing her bags and heading back to rehab.
Portwood needs to make a change for herself, and her daughter. Leah needs her mother, and although Gary Shirley is a great parent, nothing can replace a mother's role in a child's life.
