Ray J's sister, Brandy, was very good friends with Whitney Houston and was obviously devastated upon hearing the news of her death. As Brandy celebrated her birthday on February 11, she learned that Whitney's body had been found at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, her day immediately ruined.
"Whyyyyyyyyyyyy???????????????" Brandy tweeted on Saturday night. Several fans began tweeting her and retweeting the resounding message that everyone seems to be asking themselves today. Why was Whitney Houston taken from this earth so young? Why now? Why this? These questions may never be answered regardless of how many times they are asked.
Ray J and Brandy were both very close to Whitney Houston and are understandably very upset by Saturday's tragic events. Ray J has yet to post anything to his Twitter account, more than likely struggling for the words to describe his emotions and utter disbelief. Brandy said nothing more after her cry, and it's beyond clear that she and her brother, along with millions of people, are in a great deal of pain today.
