Miley Cyrus is heartbroken over Whitney Houston's death. The former Hannah Montana star has been shaken by the loss of the music icon, according to her father, Billy Ray Cyrus.
"She feels sad about the loss. She was also very close to Etta James. She was a big influence to Miley. There were a lot of great memories," Billy Ray Cyrus revealed at Sunday's Grammy Awards.
It seems Miley Cyrus has lost two very big musical influences in her life over the past months. Hopefully, the young starlet will see Whitney Houston's death for what it is. Cyrus has already had her share of drug and alcohol scandals in the media. At one point, Miley had many fans worried about the direction her life was headed.
However, Miley has been on better behavior since reuniting with boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth. Fans are hoping that Cyrus is growing out of her wild ways, and into a responsible young woman.
As for Miley Cyrus' feelings on the death of Whitney Houston, the nation shares her sentiment, as all of Whitney's supporters are like one big family who are all mourning their loss together.
