Although it has been nearly a week, fans are still reeling from the death of Whitney Houston. She was found dead in the bath tub of her Beverly Hills Hilton hotel room last Saturday. Since that fateful day, many celebrities have shared their thoughts and most recently, Ray J (who she was rumored to have been dating) released a statement about Houston's passing.
Perhaps the saddest part of the story is the fact that Houston leaves behind an 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina. After hearing of her mother's passing, she suffered a panic attack and had to be rushed to the hospital, not once, but two times. So, what will happen to the young girl now?
According to Hollywood Life, Bobbi Kristina will be staying with her grandmother, Cissy Houston, rather than her father, Bobby Brown. A source tells the site:
"Cissy doesn't think Bobby can provide Bobbi Kristina with a stable lifestyle. And Bobby's bizarre behavior last night [Feb. 16] at his concert is yet another example of his inconsistencies. Bobby has repeatedly told friends that he won't leave Bobbi Kristina's side and will find her the best care available, but Cissy knows the number one person in Bobby Brown's life is Bobby Brown and it will always be that way."
How long will Bobbi Kristina stay with her grandmother? The source says, "indefinitely." Cissy lives in New Jersey, where Whitney Houston's funeral will take place tomorrow. However, she won't be alone. Apparently, Cissy has also opened her home to two of Bobbi's closest girlfriends. It seems that Bobbi's grandmother only wants the best for her.
This seems like a good arrangement for Bobbi Kristina. Obviously she is taking the news of her mother's death very hard and the best thing for her is the love and support of her family and friends.
