Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's relationship is hitting leaps and bounds like none of her others have before. Well, ever since Brad Pitt, of course. Jennifer is now subtly taking jabs at Pitt and Angelina Jolie after having to suffer through years of them gushing about each other.
It is well known that Pitt and Jolie met and fell in love during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Since then, Jolie hasn't been shy about referencing her growing love for Pitt during that time. Now, Aniston gets to do the same thing about Theroux (whom she met while filming Wonderlust).
While discussing the film, the blonde bombshell recently gushed, "I had the time of my life. We loved it. We absolutely love it. We were sort of all brought together [because we were in a place where none of us lived]. For me, shooting this movie was a version of living like [they do in the film]. It was this great community and these amazing people. I realized how much of a wall there was in a way, this protective armor that I have [when I'm] outside in the world. I'm always on guard. So there was this sigh of relief... it was like John Travolta in Boy in the Bubble! Like, riding a horse, out of the bubble [laughs] ... I really made a conscious effort to say, 'Don't wall up like that.' You miss out on a lot of stuff if you're so protected and isolated."
Fortunately, Wonderlust has become Jennifer Aniston's version of Mr. and Mrs. Smith (right down to stealing him away from Heidi Bivens). The laughter and joy Aniston has experienced with Theroux during the filming has created a strong bond and now marriage may be next. If only every Hollywood star were so lucky.
