Bobby Brown made waves at Whitney Houston's funeral Saturday when he was disgruntled over seating arrangements at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey. Luckily, his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was unaware of the incident happening two rows behind her as she sat with her grandmother.
After Whitney's funeral, Bobby went on to perform again at a club in Connecticut with New Edition. He reportedly stayed for some length of time following that. When he gave another shout out to Whitney, he called himself "bad ass Bobby Brown."
Brown's conduct is offensive on many levels not only to Whitney Houston's family, but the public in general. TMZ took a poll of whether readers feel he disrespected Whitney. 58 percent says yes and 42 percent says no.
Given the gravity of the situation, one would think Bobby Brown could at least try being more sensitive. Would it be asking too much for him to put off performing out of respect for losing the mother of his daughter? People grieve in their own way, but making a scene at a funeral over seating arrangements and continuing to carry on blatantly is an insensitive gesture.
