Ashton Kutcher has received an apology from his Two and a Half Men predecessor Charlie Sheen, but do you think he'll accept it? Sheen made a rude remark about Sheen last week, and now it seems he's trying to take it back.
According to a report from TMZ, Sheen spoke exclusively with them last week when he called in to TMZ Live and had the following to say about both Kutcher and Two and a Half Men.
"I'm tired of lying ... I'm tired of pretending the show doesn't suck ... I'm tired of pretending Ashton doesn't suck."
Oh, dear. Was Charlie on another of his 'winning' rants from last year? Was he spouting off without really having a clue what he was saying?
It seems it was probably just a temporary lapse in judgement. The old Charlie would have stuck to his guns, meaning Ashton Kutcher and Two and a Half Men would have 'sucked' as much on Tuesday as they did last Wednesday. Instead, Charlie had a change of heart or a fleeting moment of slight embarrassment. Whichever it was, he issued an apology to Ashton. (Seems the show still sucks, huh Charlie?)
"Dear Ashton,
My bad.
I was disrespectful to a man doing his best.
I got excited and I threw you into the crossfire, but the rest of my statement I stand behind. You however, deserve better.
Safety in your travels good sir.
CS"
Well, what do you think of that? It almost sounds genuine as though Charlie realized he'd behaved like a jerk. Still he wasn't ready to give Two and a Half Men a break, but that goes back to his being fired by the network, of course.
Will Ashton Kutcher accept Charlie Sheen's apology? Should he? And what's your opinion on Two and a Half Men with Ashton at the helm as compared to Charlie? Does it actually suck?
