Actress Jennifer Aniston has officially made her mark in Hollywood: She was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today (Feb. 22).
The 43-year-old Wanderlust star was the guest of honor today on Hollywood Boulevard, where she was presented with her very own iconic star bearing her name in gold letters.
Reportedly, Aniston's star is the number 2,462 to grace Tinseltown's most famous walkway. She's also the very first Friends star to earn the coveted honor.
According to ABC News, Aniston celebrated her major career milestone today in California alongside friends and family. Her father, actor John Aniston, attended her star ceremony along with her boyfriend, actor Justin Theroux.
Also there to offer moral support were friends Malin Akerman and former Just Go With It co-star Adam Sandler, who gave a funny, heartfelt introduction speech about Aniston at the ceremony that left the actress rolling in laughter and tears.
All in all, it seemed like an emotional but memorable day for Aniston and an excellent way to kick off the release of her newest movie, Wanderlust, in theaters this Friday (Feb. 24).
What do you think of Jennifer Aniston's new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Is it well-deserved? Which one of her former Friends co-stars would you like to see receiving this same honor?
