It seems as though most people feel the same way: The picture should not have been published, and it should have been the family's decision whether or not to share that last memory of their beloved Whitney with the world.

Aside from the fact that Whitney and her family have been completely disrespected, Whitney does look beautiful even in death. While her dead body was not meant to be seen by the eyes of the public, there is something comforting knowing that she was laid to rest looking so stunning, just as her millions of fans will remember her.
