Lucy Lawless, the Xena: Warrior Princess actress, is learning the hard way that her activism has a price. Right now she's being banned from bathrooms on the tanker she illegally boarded and is refusing to leave.
According to a report from TMZ, on board to protest Arctic drilling with members of Greenpeace, the actress quickly learned that those on board (legally so) weren't going to let her us
e their bathrooms, so she has been peeing all over the tanker.
Now don't misinterpret that statement. The Battlestar Galactica star isn't literally peeing all over the tanker. It's not part of her protest. But since she can't pee in the bathrooms, she has taken to trying to find locations that afford a bit of privacy--if such a thing is even remotely possible on an oil tanker. Once there (whichever place there may be at the time) Lawless has been urinating in empty water and Gatorade bottles.
That in itself is quite an amazing feat. Do you know many women with the kind of accurate aim that would allow urination into a water or Gatorade bottle? That's some pretty incredible control.
Lucy Lawless knows she'll be arrested for illegally boarding the tanker once she is back on land. Will pubic urination be added to her list of charges?
Hopefully in the meantime no one picks up a bottle of Lucy Lawless's urine and mistakes it for an actual bottle of Gatorade. That would no doubt find the actress in way more trouble than she has already managed to find for herself.
