The Oscar buzz last night seemed to focus on Jennifer Lopez's supposed nip slip. And it was nowhere near as obvious as one might think. In fact, it was a slightly darker line right along the dress line that covered part of her cleavage that was caused all of the drama. And if you ask Jennifer's stylist, there is no way that her nipple was showing.
Lopez was wearing a revealing Zuhair Murad gown, which revealed parts of her cleavage. Now, revealing cleavage isn't something new at the Oscars or any award show for that matter. But it seems the world was focusing on that small little brown line that could possibly have been part of her nipple. "The dress fit perfectly to her every inch," wrote Lopez's stylist Mariel Haenn on Twitter as the scandal broke last night. "There were cups built in and there's no chance that there were any, how do you say? 'slips.'"
Is it possible that what viewers saw was Jennifer Lopez's cup that was built into the dress to protect her cleavage from falling out? "While the dress did give the illusion of sheer-ness, joke's on everyone who wishes they saw something! If you thought that dress was hot wait until you see what's next," the stylist continued. She was referring to Lopez's second dress by Zuhair Murad, which was just as daring and sexy with a plunging gown. But the focus continued to be on the supposed nip-slip.
Who would have thought that a cup within a gown could have caused so much controversy?
