The only people that joined actor Gerard Butler for lunch after he got out of the Betty Ford Clinic were the wait staff at the restaurant and the paparazzi. Has his substance abuse left Butler with no friends, or is this just a coincidence?

Just hours after leaving his three-week treatment for drug abuse, Gerard Butler was spotted out having lunch, by himself, in Malibu. One would think that he might have had at least a little company, seeing as how he had been off the radar for the last three weeks. Clearly, for the 300 actor, this wasn't the case. Butler, who had a history of other drug and alcohol issues, got hooked on pain meds after an injury on the set of Of Men and Mavericks.
Hopefully, Gerard Butler has not had all of his friends abandon him. He will continue to need the help of those around him as he fights the disease of addiction. Though lunch by one's self may have been a wonderful opportunity to get out and reflect, perhaps some good quality friend time may be what the doctor ordered.

Being a member of the press and not the paparazzi one would expect a professional journalist to conduct their due diligence and research the topic they are writing about especially when it is about a very successful artist in your dark spotlight. The photograph in question was taken years ago in Malibu & NOT as you are reporting.
Your failure to research your topic you are writing on makes you no different then then the paparazzi that report these false, untrue and heinous stories. Furthermore, GB is surrounded by loads of friends and family and many professional artists and people within his industry support him and he will rise above any and all challenges that come his way because GB is a leader....... Not a follower or some Yahoooo looking to get his name out over the internet blog websites reporting false & untrue stories...
Please contact your sources and get the facts and retract your story or form your opinion based on facts only so you can sleep better at night....... Maybe try some meditation or indian music to coooool your soul... PeaceOUT!!
