According to a report from India Today she may very well be trying to outdo Sherlyn Chopra. The other model posted a nude picture just days ago. So basically Pandey is trying to top her by just going topless. Poonam added the Twitter message along with it:
"Finally on Public demand Sharing a pic #PoonamPandeyWithoutBikini Tweethearts!! Thanx for Loving me so Much .. Luv"
By the way, Poonam is concerned that kids might see her racy pic. She also added a nice parental advisory tweet just moments before tweeting the pic saying:
"WARNING 18 & under should not try looking up the pic. that said i do not take responsibility for anyone under age"
In addition to all that, she posted several more tweets trying to get the phrase #PoonamPandeyWithoutBikini trending on the microblogging site. The new picture certainly worked in her favor as several media sites including Times of India picked up the story. The Twitter account Statweestics also tweeted that Pandey had been surging in popularity on the site as well.
As of this report though, the Poonam Pandey topless pic appeared to have been taken off Twitpic for some reason. Maybe it was causing too much attention or her reps complained. Or maybe Pandey just wanted to tease the fans a bit?
Ok, so now what for Pandey? The celebrity/model continues to seek attention through various risque or sexy photos on Twitter, but has it achieved much for her? She's also tweeted to the Prime Minister of India in a bikini to welcome the office to Twitter, and done special pics for the Indian cricket team. She has indicated most recently there is "more to come" for her fans.
While this is all good for the fans to check her out in bikinis or other stages of being undressed, shouldn't she seek publicity in better ways? How about learning some acting skills or beefing up the resume instead of just posting provocative pics for her fans on Twitter? Then again maybe she enjoys the attention minus the money?
