While Aishwarya Rai baby Beti B has dominated Bollywood gossip circuits latest, don't forget about her famous father. He's been busy working on Bol Bachchan, but also it was announced that he recently lost a major movie role.
Actor Abhishek Bachchan is currently involved in filming one movie, and has tweeted of dangers from the set. Luckily, he's unharmed and still going forth with the new project, Bol Bachchan. Meanwhile, another role for the movie Special Chabbis, was lost to fellow actor Ashkay Kumar.
The reason for the choice of Kumar over Bachchan appears to be due to the director's preference. Neeraj Pandey may have noticed that Abhishek has been "box office poison" as Bollywood Life reports. While Kumar isn't much better, he may have fit the character better than Abhishek, in Pandey's opinion.
That shouldn't phase Abhishek Bachchan too much as he and his wife Aishwarya Rai continue to be highly sought-after Bollywood stars. With a new daughter, Beti B, to focus on, he probably could use the extra time with his family, too. He definitely works hard enough in his film roles and in helping out the other members of his family!
