Leah Messer has had to endure having much of her teenge years play out on television. Her pregnancy, giving birth to her twins, marriage, and eventual divorce has all been seen on Teen Mom and in just the first two seasons! It is hard to say what fans will see on the upcoming third season, but if the recent trip to New York to film the reunion special is any hint, viewers just may see some of her new boyfriend, Jeremy Calvert.
During the recent trip, pictures suggested that everyone had a good time and that Leah, Jeremy, and Corey all got along great. Now, a new report suggests that the NYC trip only opened some old wounds for both Leah and Corey.
A source (who HollyBaby says is from West Virginia) says, "She misses Corey, and part of her wishes she could make things work, but another part of her loves Jeremy and wants to start a clean slate with him."
Obviously, this is a confusing situation for the Teen Mom and surely having to tape the reunion and relive all of those feelings didn't make it any easier. However, reports have been around for weeks that say Corey still misses Leah and wants her back.
Despite his feelings, the source says, "Corey likes Jeremy because he's good to his girls, but he'd take Leah back in a second."
Jeremy, on the other hand, reportedly is aware of the situation. Obviously, anyone who has been in a relationship with an individual who has kids knows that it isn't always easy. Even when Leah and Corey move on with others, they will still share a bond and there may always be feelings associated with that. All Jeremy can do is continue to be there for Leah through this trying time.
Will Leah and Corey ever reconcile? It really is hard to say since no one can tell the future. They work well as co-parents, but perhaps one day they will be able to find their way back to each other. Should they give their relationship one more try or would that only cause more heartache for everyone involved?
