Diagnosis Murder star Dick Van Dyke got married on Leap Day, February 29th—to his 40-year-old girlfriend. The actor and comedian is 86. He claims he has now found his life partner.
According to a report from People.com, Van Dyke was married to first wife and had four children with her. He then lived with longtime girlfriend Michelle Triola for over 30 years.
She passed away in 2009. So what made Mary Tyler Moore's former TV show sidekick decide it was time to tie the knot again?
"I'm not a loner. I have to have a life partner. I found the perfect one," he says.
Arlene Silver is Van Dyke's newest life partner. A makeup artist, the two met six years ago while at the Screen Actor's Guild (SAG) Awards show. Dick Van Dyke claims he was 'bowled over' by her beauty.
"The last couple of years we kind of fell in love," he says. "She keeps up with me."
The 86-year-old is still pretty amazing in the 'keeping up' category. The singer, dancer, actor and comedian recently presented Betty White with the 48th Screen Actors Guild's Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's award show.
