Actress and singer Demi Lovato went on a bit of a Twitter rant on Friday as she discussed "blind items" involving celebrity gossip. It appears she may be upset over gossip about herself, or maybe friends like Selena Gomez and other celebs.
On Friday, Demi took to Twitter to get on her online soap box. The topic of the day was "blind items" which she tweeted about saying:
These things called "blind items" are made up stories by people who won't name names because they don't want to be sued....
As a follow up to that comment, she then tweeted:
If you're rumor is true, why are you afraid of getting sued? #allblinditemsareFAKE
Demi corrected here "you're" as "your" in a tweet update right after, but it's apparent she's fed up with gossip. She's been the subject of it quite a bit in the past related to her relationship with Jonas, and her issues that brought her to rehab.
It's understandable that Demi Lovato might get sick of seeing all the gossip that goes around on Twitter and the internet at large. One of her best friends is Selena Gomez, who is constantly involved in gossip, thanks to boyfriend Justin Bieber. Unfortunately for many celebs and famous people, once you're in the public eye, gossip happens. However, when gossip becomes false stories that could hurt an image, the stars definitely need to fight back!
