Toxicology reports listing Whitney Houston's official cause of death is due around the 23rd of March, a source close to investigators said. With all the suspicion surrounding the beloved pop star's demise, the final results will be a welcome relief.
Authorities are still looking at information provided to them by physicians and pharmacies Houston went to. They still want to talk with her daughter, Bobbi Kristina, before closing the whole investigation. Family members have been contacted, but Kristina hasn't agreed to meet with them yet.
Toxicology reports are pending some last-minute details and once those are complete, the official cause of death will be released. Early findings in how Whitney Houston died were from consumption of the drug Xanax and alcohol. A variety of pills and other medications were obtained by authorities after she was found unconscious in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11th.
Coroners have stated foul play isn't indicative of Whitney's death. Nothing criminal stood out to them after examining Houston's cause of death to call for a murder investigation.
No matter what the toxicology reports consist of, there will always be fans who believe the pop icon was murdered by someone close to her. The thought that she had an accidental overdose is too painful to accept.
