Ray J 'Really Loved' Whitney Houston

Ray J is understandably still hurting after the sudden death of his dear friend, Whitney Houston. While the status of their relationship is still unclear, there is no question that they were very close and both had a lot of love for each other.

"I really miss my friend. I really do. I'm still hurting. It's just such a tough time for me. I've been through a lot in these past two weeks. I'm able to look at life in a whole different way. I always look at my phone because I have a picture of ... of someone that I really loved and it helps me get through the day," said Ray J during a press conference on Friday.

It seems obvious that Whitney Houston played a very important role in Ray's life. Whether she was a good friend or a girlfriend doesn't really matter as it does not make her loss any easier to swallow. Slowly but surely Ray J is healing from this but it's clear that Whitney's memory will never be far from his mind. As many people know, losing someone you love is never easy. However, keeping them close to your heart is essential in the healing process.
