Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is an avid recycler, and she was even spotted recently recycling a dress that her mom wore back in 2010. The Reiss dress cost Carole Middleton about $220 in 2010.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Kate looked absolutely lovely in the bright blue dress. She wore it when she attended a recent event for The Treehouse—a children's hospice in Ipswich.
Kate is known for frequently re-wearing many of her dresses and suits. She isn't one of those divas who requires a new outfit every time she is photographed or appears in public. She and Prince William both are far more cost-conscious than any of the other royals, and they don't behave like a lot of Great Britain's elite. Kate has even purchased dresses in thrift shops for wear at public and charity events. This likely comes much to the dismay, however, of Queen Elizabeth.

Who do you think wears the blue Reiss dress better—mother or daughter? While one could certainly do without the bizarre monstrosity sitting atop Carole Middleton's head, it is definitely apropos for the styles frequently seen in London. Could you ever wear such a hat?
Are you impressed with the fact that Kate Middleton has no qualms about wearing recycled fashions? Does it make her seem a bit more like a commoner than a royal?
