Poor Khloe Kardashian. Rumor has it that Lamar Odom is refusing to have sex with her because he's upset with the way her family is overshadowing his life and ruining his career. Right. What life? What career? Is this guy serious? Or is this just another plot device in the reality series that has come to rival P.T. Barnum's circuses as the greatest show on earth?
Yes, Kim Kardashian isn't the only one who'll be celibate for a while now that Reggie Bush has reportedly kicked her to the curb for the umpteenth time. It seems Lamar is sulking because his involvement with the Kardashians has caused him to lose control of his life and career. If he's serious, then apparently the cliché about athletes being big and dumb is true. Prior to his involvement with and marriage into the Kardashian family, the only people who'd ever heard of him were basketball fans. He was more famous than Kris Humphries, of course, but then, that's not really saying much. Now the whole planet knows his name. So what if he was "demoted to the minor leagues after playing the worst basketball of his career," that probably would have happened anyway. If Lamar is really "so pissed off at Khloe that he refuses to have sex with her and is even withdrawing his offer to get pregnant via IVF" then he should just divorce her and walk away. Or he should count his blessings and enjoy the lifestyle he's fallen into. Either way, he should shut up and stop whining like a little girl. But no.
"He resents the show for taking his focus off the game,' an inside source reveals. "...he feels it's wrecked his reputation, as well. And he's retaliated in the most painful of ways. Turning away from Khloe both emotionally and physically, Lamar has been denying her sex. He really shut down and told her to leave him alone for a while,' shares a friend. And it's heartbreaking for sensitive Khloe, who complained on a February episode of Khloe & Lamar that she felt 'rejected' when he wasn't in the mood. Khloe is trying to stand by him, but it's hard He's always so angry.'
Oh well, Lamar will do whatever he's going to do. If Khloe and Lamar's celibacy situation is just another "shocking" development in the ongoing "real-life" soap opera that is Keeping Up with the Kardashians, then once again, Kris Jenner should be commended for being the genius that she obviously is. Years after this silly show should have ended up on the sludge pile with so many other similarly soporific series, it's still going strong. Not only are people still tuning in to this nonsense, they're still taking it seriously. Remember P.T. Barnum's classic comment about going broke and the low intelligence level of the American public? It's sad, but the Kardashian empire has proved that it's true. Just like Barnum did in his day.
As for Khloe K., her rep has denied the rumor that Lamar is refusing to have sex with her. Stay tuned.
Note to Khloe Kardashian: Don't despair. Men come and go, but money is a sine qua non of human existence.
