Amber Portwood's brother, Shawn, isn't worried about Teen Mom being canceled. Shawn says that it's about time the show was taken off MTV, and that he couldn't be happier about it.
"I am thrilled," Portwood said about the cancellation. "I do not believe that the show should have survived more than a year or two at the most. I am happy that (the stars) actually have to pursue their lives now."
Of course, Amber Portwod's brother hasn't been the biggest fan of Teen Mom. Shawn has repeatedly bashed the show on his personal blog. So, the cancellation is likely great news to the military man.
Meanwhile, Amber has been busy trying to get her life in order. The reality star was recently released from jail, and is now living with her grandparents. She is also planning to regain custody of daughter, Leah.
Hopefully, the Teen Mom cast will use the end of their show as an opportunity to move on with their lives, and continue to speak out about teen pregnancy issues.
