According to Reality Weekly (via Gossip Cop), Kim, Kourtney and Khloe are "very upset" that Kris has been "busy promoting the careers of her youngest daughters" at their expense and think she should instead be focusing her efforts on "cleaning up the Kim/Kris [Humphries] marriage mess."
On the one hand, with Kris H. playing hardball, Kris J. probably should be trying to do a bit more damage control. But on the other hand, Kim's divorce drama has been dragging on for months, and there's no end in sight. The public has turned on Kim, and the momager's previous attempts at spin were pretty laughable and didn't do anything to change public opinion. So that might be a lost cause.
Kris thinks her oldest daughters are just jealous and has told them to "step back" and not "begrudge" Kendall and Kylie's chance at success. But Kim, Kourtney and Khloe "are standing their ground, even considering outside management to replace their mom."
"It's a classic case of family divided over fame and fortune," a hyperbolic "source" dishes to the mag.
A "Kardashian confidante" (it's surprising Gossip Cop didn't spell that konfidante) denies the story, telling Gossip Cop that "the ladies are truly happy to see Kendall and Kylie step into the spotlight and have never discussed firing Jenner." But the Kardashians deny everything that makes them look bad, regardless of whether it's true, and Gossip Cop is in bed with them anyway, so a denial is pretty meaningless.
There could be some truth to Reality Weekly's story. There have been reports that Kourtney is unhappy that she doesn't have as many endorsements as Kim and Khloe and is considering a management change. Plus, Kris is also reportedly stirring up trouble for Khloe and Lamar Odom, and if Khloe has any sense at all, she won't put up with that. The only Kardashian who probably wouldn't fire Kris is Kim, because Kris has publicly admitted that Kim is her favorite, and Kim also gets the most endorsements and highest appearances fees. So even though Kris has mismanaged the divorce debacle, Kim will probably keep her on no matter what. The other two Kardashians, maybe not. But Kris has been pushing Kendall and Kylie a lot now that they're getting a bit older, and she only has so much time to devote to everyone. In this family, who knows what will happen.
What do you think? Should Kim Kardashian and her sisters fire Kris Jenner? Are they just jealous of Kendall and Kylie Jenner's success? Sound off in the comments!
