Meet '16 and Pregnant' Katie Yeager

Fans are anxiously awaiting the new season of 16 and Pregnant to première. Luckily, MTV has decided to give fans a treat and will be airing, not one, but two brand new episodes on March 27!

First, viewers will meet Oklahoma cheerleader Mackenzie Douthit. Then, they will be introduced to Wyoming native Katie Yeager. MTV recently released the extended previews for their episodes so fans will know what to expect come Tuesday night.

So, what is known about Katie Yeager? She and her boyfriend, Joey, seem to have a pretty tight relationship. Not only do their families get along, but they also agreed to let the two teens live together at Joey's mother's house. Katie has big plans for her future which include college and obtaining a Master's degree in Psychology. However, she is pregnant and may need to put those plans on hold.

Typically, the stories featured on 16 and Pregnant are full of drama. However, both Mackenzie's preview as well as Katie's seem pretty tame to what fans have seen in the past. Is MTV trying to take a new approach to the series this time around? Do you think that things will get more dramatic as the season rolls on?

Of course, fans will also be watching, trying to pick out which girls will move onto Teen Mom 3. It is unclear if MTV has already picked the girls or if they are waiting to see how viewers react to their stories. Knowing that each girl could potentially be picked may make fans pay a little more attention to their stories.
