The Bachelor Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson's relationship certainly hasn't been a bed of roses. Flajnik has faced his fair share of criticism for falling in love and thereby "falling for" the manipulative model, Robertson, who was the season's resident villain and that girl who the other girls loved to hate. Plus, the couple even broke things off for a short time before the televised shows even ended. But who could blame Flajnik for not getting cold feet after seeing Robertson at her worst on the show?! And it seems that he may not have truly recovered his romantic feelings for his chosen girl, at least according to body language expert Patti Wood.
This Bachelor may be staying one for a bit longer if Wood's estimation of his unspoken cues are any indication. She recently analyzed a photo that was taken of Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson on their first double date with Flajnik's sister, Julia. And there may be more trouble in paradise!
"Her [Courtney] lean says she depends on him [Ben] more. His body and face orientation says he is a bit more interested in playing for the camera," Wood said, as Hollywood Life reports. "She is 'sheltering' with her head tilted toward him and shoulder down toward him. That shows she feels he can protect her."
Hmm... interesting. It's amazing what an expert like Patti Wood can deduce from a quick snap at a restaurant. On the surface, the pic looks normal enough and it doesn't seem like Flajnik is harboring any feelings of resentment towards Robertson. In fact, Julia Flajnik and her date seem to look identical to Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson in terms of their body positioning. Does that mean Julia's date also only cares about the camera and not her, too?! Each guy has his arm around his girl and the ladies are leaning in. Perhaps they just all squeezed together to fit in the shot!
Actions (and subconscious body language!) may just speak louder than words. But regardless of what a quick date-night photo means, it doesn't take an expert to know that B + C may not equal happily ever after.
