Katy Perry will be asking her fans for some very important help throughout the next several months. Will you be one of those to jump on board and help the "Teenage Dream" singer?
According to a report from the Huffington Post, Katy will be enlisting the help of her fans in putting the final touches on her upcoming film. The movie will be a concert film and the singer's 16 million Twitter followers will be given a chance to make their mark on the film's creation.
Twitter will work in conjunction with Paramount to ask Katy's fans for ideas on which songs should be featured in Katy Perry: Part of Me and for their input on wardrobe options. There will be other choices they can help make as well.
The film, due out this coming summer, is expected to be a huge hit based on her record and concert ticket sales. Fans who help out in the decision making process will become privy to behind the scenes goings on and information from what Perry calls the "most intense year of her life."
Does this sound like something you'd like to be involved with? Are you a big enough Katy Perry fan that you could answer questions and help make decisions based on your knowledge of the "Firework" singer?
Be sure to follow Katy on Twitter so that when the time comes for her to ask her fans for help, you'll be on board and ready to go.
Selena Gomez recently enlisted the help of her fans in creating her new fragrance. It seemed to be a great way for her to communicate with her most dedicated fans. Maybe even more singers and actors will try this idea of involving fans in the direct creation of items they market or upcoming films and performances.
It actually sounds like a really clever idea.
