Josh Hutcherson's role in the The Hunger Games has made him extremely popular with the ladies, but once upon a time he dreamed of making girls scream his name for a completely different reason—he wanted to be in a boy band just like Justin Timberlake.

lk about something completely embarrassing in order to entertain his fans (and he seems to be just as charming and funny as Peeta in real life). According to The Hot Hits, he recently revealed this dark secret to talk show host Conan O'Brien: "I was a big 'N SYNC fan and I had my hair dyed blonde, like the frosted tips in the 90's." Well, at least he probably didn't find lightening his locks to play the boy with the bread to frightening since he's already done it once before.
Josh Hutcherson went on to reveal that Justin Timberlake was his favorite member of the band because he's so "gorgeous" and "talented." It's kind of crazy now that Josh wanted to be like J.T.—Justin has been working hard to make the move from doing music to doing movies, so he'd likely love to land a big role in a blockbuster like The Hunger Games. Perhaps he could have even played Peeta if the movie had been made in the 90s.
Josh doesn't reveal if he really showed his Justin Timberlake love by getting his hair permed, but maybe someday he'll sport a curly wig and spoof his idol. In fact, a boy band battle royale would be a great idea for a Funny or Die video.
Josh Hutcherson could gather some of the other guys from The Hunger Games cast to form an 'N SYNC parody band, and his costar Liam Hemsworth could play Nick Carter and get some other members of the cast to create a Backstreet Boys spoof group. The boy bands could then battle to death, but of course Josh/Justin would end up winning by crying a river and drowning everyone (he could sing "Bye Bye Bye" anytime he takes someone out).
