Rihanna Would Love to Play Whitney Houston

Rihanna has expressed an interest in playing Whitney Houston in a biopic, but she might prefer to star in something easier to film like a Seth Rogen comedy.

The singer's behavior might be questionable sometimes, but she's not so stupid that she thinks that playing Whitney would be easy. According to Contact Music, here's what RiRi said about playing the legendary singer: ''That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do, because I would really want to pull it off. That's a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job.'' She also credits Whitney for inspiring her to pursue a career as a singer since "I Will Always Love You" is the song that got her interested in music.

Of course being able to belt out that tune could be one of Rihanna's biggest issues when it comes to playing Whitney Houston - there aren't many singers who can do it justice. Someone better at belting out ballads like Jennifer Hudson might have a voice better-suited for the role.

And if RiRi does get cast as Whitney, you just know that Chris Brown will get asked to play Bobby Brown - the controversy that casting choice would cause would help the movie sell out. Plus RiRi would probably put in a good word for her ex since she's obviously completely made up with him. They've already put the past behind them by remixing two of their songs together, so why not team up for a film? Chris Brown is also trying to make the move to doing movies by starring in Think Like a Man, so there is a real possibility that he and Rihanna might end up working together someday.

If RiRi doesn't get cast as Whitney Houston, maybe she could get her ex to star in a comedy with her. Apparently working on the action movie Battleship was just too physically exhausting, because the sexy singer wants to try a comedy movie next. She loves Seth Rogen films like Superbad and Pineapple Express, so you can bet that Seth will be having his people calling her people whenever he finds out that she's a fan - perhaps the King of the Geeks could get her to star in a superhero comedy (because it would require RiRi to wear something in spandex).
