Khloe Kardashian certainly wasn't ready for tornadoes when she and Lamar Odom moved to Dallas.
Fans of Khloe & Lamar recently saw how stressful it was for the couple to move to Texas, but there's no way Khlo was prepared for what happened Tuesday when two twisters ripped through the DFW area.
She was already worried about her Lam-Lam being sick, but Khloe went into freak out mode when the storms hit Dallas. The reality show star started tweeting about the twisters, first writing this: "OMG another tornado!!!! What?
??" If Khloe was watching the news, she would have been extremely worried—some videos showed winds actually picking up trailers from tractor-trailer rigs and smashing them to the ground. Tornadoes hitting an area like Dallas that's so heavily populated definitely had the potential to become a big disaster, but obviously Khloe Kardashian made it through okay since she kept on tweeting through the storms.
Khloe let her fans know that she wasn't exactly prepared to live a real-life version of the movie Twister by writing, "Born and raised in Cali... Tornado's are very new to me." Since she was obviously pretty shaken up by the experience, so don't expect her and Lamar Odom to go storm chasing on an upcoming episode of Khloe and Lamar. She also tweeted this about the weather: "3 inch hail storms...... Ummmmmm."
Even if a tornado didn't go right over Khloe, the weather surrounding her might have been really scary with torrential rain, hail, thunder, and lightning. Sometimes the sky can also get rather dark and spooky, so it's certainly an unnerving experience. Khloe probably had some of her fans worried after her tornado tweets, but later she let them know she was okay by tweeting this about the aftermath of the storm: "Yes it was crazy here in Dallas "@cnnbrk: Between 6-13 #tornadoes touched down in north Texas, the NWS says."
Now that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom know how serious Texas weather can get, hopefully they have a preparation plan—getting underground is the best idea, but if that's not possible, it's important to know to stay away from windows and to try to take cover somewhere like a bathtub with a mattress on top of it. Luckily Khloe and Lamar's building is probably pretty sturdy, so they might only have to really worry about bigger tornadoes.
Khloe didn't say if cameras were around to record her first experience with a twister, but it would certainly make for must-see TV. So were you worried about Khlo when you heard about the Dallas tornadoes?
