Brad Pitt once called Jennifer Aniston "my Greek woman." So is his ex planning a "big fat Greek wedding" with new love Justin Theroux? According to The National Enquirer (via Gossip Cop), yes! JustJen "plan to tie the knot this summer on the island of Crete."
"Jennifer and Justin have agreed that they want to tie the knot in Crete, specifically in the beautiful town of Chania, where her father was born," a "source" dishes to the mag. "Her father always made sure that she appreciated her Greek roots, and Jennifer feels Crete is the ideal setting for her nuptials."
The Enquirer also claims that Jennifer's cousin "Antonis Anastassakis confirmed the upcoming nuptials when he spilled the beans to a local TV station in Greece early last month," although Gossip Cop helpfully points out that the mag doesn't have any quotes from Antonis' alleged interview.
But The Enquirer has lots of details about the upcoming nuptials, including that "Jennifer has already invited her former Friends costar Courteney Cox and new BFF Chelsea Handler to be co-maids of honor. She also wants to include Courteney's daughter Coco as a flower girl."
The Enquirer can't make up its mind about Jennifer and Justin's relationship. This week they're getting married; three weeks ago they were on the verge of a breakup because he's a cheater. Considering that these two have been reported numerous times to be on the verge of marriage -- supposedly planning weddings everywhere from Cabo San Lucas to Upstate New York, none of which has actually happened -- and that "a member of Theroux's inner circle tells Gossip Cop they have not heard one thing about a Greek wedding for the couple," it's safe to say The Enquirer had a few extra pages to fill this week and decided to make something up.
What do you think? Are Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux planning to marry? Is this just another BS tabloid report? Sound off in the comments!
