Miley Cyrus has been laying low for some time now, and fans are wondering whether they will get to see her acting or singing again anytime soon. The former Hannah Montana star had an extremely busy past few years, and is clearly enjoying some downtime hanging out and supporting her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth. But, she has been busy working as well.
Billy Ray Cyrus recently confirmed Miley is definitely working on her next album during a hosting gig on the Today Show. Unfortunately, he did not give any hints about the music, but it is probably safe to assume it will not be country! Although, her smoky voice is perfect for the genre. Billy's co-host, Kathie Lee Gifford, asked about Miley and like any proud father, he revealed, "She's great, she's working on a new album, staying really busy, and very happy right now."
When the topic of Liam and Miley's relationship came up, Billy would only say they are doing "good" and was not about to elaborate any further. Gifford quickly caught on and Billy changed the subject back to talk about the Hunger Games. What a nice potential father-in-law. He plugged Liam's movie and complimented his acting.
