Many Teen Mom fans were aware that a new tabloid story was going to be released about Jenelle Evans. However, not many knew what it was about or that it would be a two parter!
On Wednesday, a story broke claiming that Jenelle "drops acid." The story was short, but on Thursday, a second (more detailed) part of the story was released. In it, Jenelle's ex-BFF, Tori Rhyne, claims that Jenelle is "in love" with the drug and could end up having a "bad trip." Of course, Jenelle has already taken to her Twitter to defend herself, but now her lawyer is even stepping in and speaking out about the allegations.
Dustin Sullivan told Today.com, "I'm sure Jenelle's accuser is simply attempting to collect money to pay for her recent driving while impaired charge she has pending in Brunswick County (N.C.)," and goes on to say, "Jenelle has been clean and sober since July of last year and has successfully completed each and every random drug test that was given to her every week for nearly eight months."
On Twitter, the Teen Mom has said that Tori needed the money to pay for an alleged DUI. Whether or not it is the truth in this case, this is something that happens all too often to celebrities. Whenever someone who they know is in need of some quick cash, they sell some information to a tabloid. However, as people have seen in the past, the stories aren't always true.
Jenelle Evans isn't the only Teen Mom who has had to deal with someone close to them supposedly selling them out. A few months back, Chelsea Houska had to battle claims that she was a "pill-popper," and she claimed that sadly the story probably originated from someone who was close to her.
In Chelsea's case, the story did little to harm her reputation. However, Jenelle Evans is already viewed as the "bad girl" on the show and that may make people bias when new stories surface. However in this case, it looks like that Jenelle is able to support her defense.
Do you believe Tori's story?
