Max George of The Wanted has confirmed he is no longer engaged to actress, Michelle Keegan. The singer confirmed the news this morning during an interview with Ryan Seacrest. Rumors have been swirling for months about the couple's relationship status, but were never confirmed.
Before anybody starts to get ideas about landing a date with the British heartthrob, he insists the relationship is still going strong. Cue the sighs. For a brief few seconds, ladies around the world were thinking the young man was single. After admitting the engagement was off, the call was disconnected. Max quickly called back to try and clear up the rumors that were already spreading like wildfire.
He then took to his Twitter account to clear up the idea he and Michelle had parted ways. In a series of tweets he states: "Hey everyone, so just to clear up any rumors, me and Shell are still very much together, just there is no wedding. The call got cut off.... And made it sound much worse."
Max George is a taken man, but he is not in any hurry to get married. Right now, he is busy trying to get the US to notice him, which has been pretty darn successful thus far. Undoubtedly, his newfound celebrity status in North America is putting a little strain on the relationship. The Wanted is currently in America and have been busy filming a video for their latest single, "Chasing the Sun." The video is chock full of eye candy for the guys in the band. Anybody want to make bets on how long the relationship will last?
