Kate Gosselin Confirms Jon's Child Support Deficit

Claims that Jon Gosselin owes more than $3,500 in back child support appear to be true. In fact, while she was pretty straight forward about it, Kate Gosselin confirmed that she is owed the money from her ex on Twitter.

Earlier today, Kate Gosselin tweeted, "@mojitosplace I hate 2 get in2 it, but I must say I know for a fact the PA CS website is accurate & up 2 date. That's all I'm saying."

Most of the stories about Jon Gosselin's back child support have stated that the website shows the amount he owes in back child support, which means that the mother of eight confirmed that the reports are true. Good for her, though, for not going much further than that. It is nice that she did not take this time to bash her ex-husband especially since they are co-parenting their eight children.

Of course, Jon himself took to Twitter to defend himself. He said that he does not owe any back child support to Kate. Either way, at least neither parent publicly bashed the other. Hopefully if he really does owe the support he will pay it soon because the children do not deserve to suffer, and the money is for their care.

Throughout the day the former reality TV mom handled a lot of grief over her tweet about the child support story. At the end of the day, she wrapped things up tweeting, "Guys- just settled in2 bed to read a good book..I'm tired! GN! ;) Thx to those of u who bel the truth & stand up for it! My kids & I thank you!"

I thought that her Tweet addressing the child support was quite simply one of the tackiest things she has ever done. The woman has no class.
All she had to do was state something along the lines of "Please stop asking. This is a private matter."

Kate should have said NOTHING about this issue -- nothing, nada, not one tweet. It is demeaning to her, the children, and Jon, and out of respect for the chilldren both parents must keep their public relationship civil and private. I agree with Susannah, she could have/should have shut down the conversation. This is not something to discuss with virtual strangers on social media site.

How is going public going to help? You and I can't make him pay. The courts will deal with this issue. If the theory is humiliating Jon with a public disclosure will make him pay, this public information will also embarrass the children. Hurting your children to get back at a spouse or make a little news is just wrong. This is not about defending Jon but protecting the kids. Sadly, the Gosselin children are getting old enough to be aware of the kind of news their parents generate. Would you do that to your children? I hope not.

Kate is very crafty in her responses. Jon says that that is a recurring balance and that it will always show the same amount, much like a car payment. Kate goes on to say that the article is accurate. She knows darn well how to make Jon look bad while at the same time covering her A**. I agree with most, that this topic should not have even been discussed. I believe that Kate hates Jon more than she loves her children. That is so sad for them.

Kate is very crafty and extremely manipulative in her responses. It makes me wonder if she is being coached by her publicist or Steve.
When Kate was doing DWTS, the TLC special on Kate documented Steve coaching Kate in the back of a limo. She was literally falling to pieces, and it was her "bodyguard" who was trying to pull her together by telling her what to say and do and giving her pep talks. Not exactly to job of a bodyguard, but those lines were blurred years ago. ;-)
I'm glad that Jon publically defended himself. I hope he keep it up and that Kate shuts it down from now on.
Once again, she proves that while she tried darn hard to be pretty on the outside, she displays the ugliness that is inside.

I still say that since Kate is allowed to blow the money THEIR kids made from being whored out all of those years, Jon should be able to tap into as well. Unless of course her self serving Coupon Cabin job pays so well she can travel the globe over and over again? Not to mention pay for a mansion, nannies, gardener, organic food, fake nails, fake tans, fake boobs, bodyguard (I bet he guards that gross body closely), etc etc

Hi Kate, Kate did NOT confirm that Jon was behind at all. She said "the PA WEBSITE is correct" Not the article. She DID, as usual, speak her Kate doublespeak. Jon said the site was accurate too. It shows what he OWES for the month. All child support payments are posted on that site. Anyone who pays or collects can sign on and get thier balance, make a payment. Just as most of us do paying and signing online to see an account we have. Jon SAID the website was correct too. It is his payment that is DUE now. Kate manipulates and LIES constantly. Everyone should just stop getting involved in this one. IF Jon were behind, he would be 1.) IN JAIL 2.) His pay garnished he would NOT just be behind and they do nothing. Read up on the collection of child support. Kate says things that sound like one thing yet means entirely something else. And people fall for it, everytime.
