Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt getting engaged has caused a lot of celebration among fans of Hollywood's most beautiful couple and their incredible family, but it's safe to say that there are some Jennifer Aniston fans upset about seeing their relationship progress.
Even though Jen seems pretty happy with her new man Justin Theroux, a lot of Angelina haters have probably been harboring hope that Brad would eventually see the error of his ways and go back to Aniston. After Brad and Angie got together, some Jen fans started calling the big-lipped beauty "home wrecker" and "baby collector." To this day some extremely loyal Team Jen members write hateful things about Angelina Jolie on internet message boards and in the comments sections of articles because she "stole" Brad Pitt from Jennifer Aniston during the filming of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. And of course the tabloids have never stopped playing up Angie vs. Jen drama.
Perhaps Jen's fans have hoped that Brad would go back to her for so long because of something Jen said about Brad in 2009. According to the IB Times, she made this comment about her feelings for him: "I will love Brad for the rest of my life. You can't take away good memories. I really do hope that we'll be good friends again at some point." That made it seem like she was somewhat open to a reconciliation because she saw Brad as the love of her life, and maybe she was even hopeful that things wouldn't last between Brad and Angie at the time. Since Jennifer Aniston was still expressing her love for Brad four years after he got with Angie, this probably made some of her fans pray even harder that he would make her happy by going back to her.
There are probably those out there who still see hope for a reconciliation even though Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are engaged—divorce isn't really a big deal anymore these days, and every party involved here has been through one already. However, Jen could just complicate things by getting engaged herself, and maybe then fans of Jen and Brad as a couple will finally move on.
