Russell Brand and Katy Perry's divorce is finally over. And, one person beyond happy with that fact is Katy. The singer was so happy that she even signed the divorce settlement with a smiley face. Yes, the ever eccentric singer signed off on her marriage in a way very few, if any other, celebrities have. Meanwhile, Russell stuck to a more traditional signature and didn't add on anything extra.
This is one situation that Brand the comedian didn't think was too funny. On the other hand, Perry's actions could be viewed as rude and callous by some. Still, the singer is not the first woman to be happy her divorce is finalized. Despite tabloids trying their best to turn the divorce into something less amicable, Brand and Perry have managed to maintain peace with each other. There doesn't seem to be any love lost between the couple.
This reasonably quick divorce has some fans wondering if Kim Kardashian has divorce envy. Russell Brand and Katy Perry can now live their lives free of each other. They can date whomever they wish without being judged. That's the freedom a smooth divorce will give you.
