Ben and Courtney fell in love on "The Bachelor," but they were dogged by a lot of criticism and drama. Now that they can be together on their own terms, they seem to be doing quite well. They have been spending many weekends together, and fans are thrilled to see them happy. The two even attended a bridal show together Monday, but they say that shouldn't be taken as a sign they are rushing into planning a wedding.
CBS News says that the pair attended the "Mark Zunino for Kleinfeld" runway show together. Courtney Robertson said they were going with the plan of "slowly but surely" in regards to moving forward in their relationship, and they aren't in a rush. She adds that "It's working out nice, kind of normal. (We're) getting back to normal life."
Though initially they chose not to do the usual rounds of media and wanted to stay out of the spotlight, it seems as if they're finding a happy medium now. Ben Flajnik thinks that some of the other couples from the show haven't worked out because of the pressure to set a wedding date, and they are avoiding going down that path of bowing to the pressure. Ben and Courtney say they are going with their own timeline, and it seems to be working well for them.
Next up for "Bachelor Nation" is Emily Maynard's spin as "The Bachelorette." Her season debuts on ABC Monday, May 14.
