Justin Bieber has been exhibiting some weird—er—intriguing behavior lately. Recently a new question has emerged about the Teen Dream's somewhat errant antics. Is JB controlling, domineering, and bossy? It would seem that the best person to answer that question would be his girlfriend, Selena Gomez. But maybe not. Women in love often overlook the negative aspects of their men's personalities. In fact, they sometimes interpret controlling behavior as caring. They may even experience it as erotic. The best person to ask about Biebs' "bossiness" or lack thereof is his protégée, Carly Rae Jepsen.
Yes, the Boyfriend singer has had quite a weekend, and it's continuing into the new week. So far he's partied in mismatched shoes, lunched with Selena Gomez in an obscene shirt, sported a new full forearm tattoo, and doffed his shirt to display his newly buff physique. Oh well, 18-year-old boys will be 18-year-old boys—er—men. Whatever. But what did Carly Rae Jepsen have to say about the diva-esque aspects of her patron's personality? In a recent interview that you can watch on the video clip below, the Call Me Maybe singer opened up about her personal and professional relationships with JB.
"You know... he isn't bossy," Carly Rae began somewhat cautiously. "He's more like a label head... And it doesn't really matter that he's younger than me. He's kind of an inspiration... um... just in his work, and in the type of person he is. So I don't mind taking hints or pointers from him every so often. I'm open to discussion, Justin."
So, there you have it, sort of. Looks like Justin Bieber is a great boss—helpful and even inspirational, but not really bossy. Cool. Now if only something could be done about his wardrobe choices.
