Christina Aguilera wore moderate makeup and even a fairly modest dress for her date at the Sunset Marquis with Matt Rutler following Tuesday night's emotional episode of The Voice.
According to a report from Too Fab, Christina was reduced to tears after eliminating yet another member of her singing team on The Voice. Still she pulled herself back together again and got dolled up for beau Matt Rutler.
The Voice coach was criticized (and rightly so!) for her ridiculous get-up on Monday night's show. Thought by many to be channeling Britney Spears, she wore a corset with high heels, and quite honestly the look simply didn't cut it over Christina's ample curves.
For Tuesday night's date following the show, Christina Aguilera looked lovely. Her dress--while not modest by most people's standards--was a far cry from what she typically wears on The Voice, and her hair and makeup looked lovely.
Christina is such a beautiful young woman, but her recent wardrobe, hair and makeup choices have cheapened her look and made it very hard for fans to take her seriously. With the powerful, rich voice this woman belts out with every tune she sings, she doesn't need anything outlandish to draw attention in her direction. If she'd simply go with the toned-down appearance she's been spied sporting a few times in recent weeks, her voice would do all the attention-grabbing the former Disney star could possibly need.
