Ted Nugent is beyond mad at the crazy accusations being tossed his way. Not much can anger a man with Ted's crazy reputation but politics will do it. The Motor City Madman found himself embroiled in more drama than he intended this past weekend. He was spouting off about President Barack Obama at the National Rifle Association (NRA) convention in St. Louis. Basically, Ted went on another of his colorful tirades bashing the left but this time around, the Secret Service was listening.
Among several things Nugent said were, "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year."
The Secret Service took Nugent's words for actual threats and contacted the aging rocker. However, the Cat Scratch Fever singer said the investigation was prompted by a "preposterous, outrageous, deceitful dishonest claim that I threatened anyone's life."
Nugent also said, "That's ridiculous. I mean, I'm a non-violent guy, I don't threaten. I wouldn't waste my time threatening, I've never threatened anyone's life in my life. I will not threaten anyone's life. I certainly wouldn't threaten the life of the president, or anybody in public office, or anybody anywhere."
Speaking about the Secret Service, Nugent said, "I respect their duty to do so," he said. "The rules of engagement for the Secret Service is to respond even when someone as maniacal as a Wasserman Schultz or Pelosi or Boxer or Feinstein. They want to shut me up, and it ain't going to happen."
It looks like the lesson was lost on Ted Nugent. He has a history of inflammatory comments and at the same time he has a history of physically doing nothing. Thus, Nugent's bark is worse than his bite but the Secret Service probably already knew that. If anything, they were probably hoping to just put the fear of (Obama) God into the rocker in hopes he would stop riling up his fellow gun lovers.
But, what do you think? Do you think Nugent was really threatening President Obama or just spouting off about politics?

Barely any coverage of this. But then the standards for leftists are different.
Pure class....
{i.e.}
By showing up for his military induction without having taken a bath nor changed his clothing for 30 consecutive days. Not to overlook the fact that he had also failed to remove those clothes when engaging in his bodily functions of urinating and defecating.
If that is not a sure sign of being a nutjob, then it can only be viewed as being an unpatriotic citizen. It's got to be one or the other, what else could you call such a filthy individual ???
What separates this country from most others is that we don’t need violence to resolve our differences.

I find it interesting how many people attack Ted Nugent based on quotes from an obviously edited video. Those edits could have removed the context that could change the meaning that you are so quick to jump on! The truth is irrelevant.

But words are escalating to an unacceptable level: remember, not so long ago a Jewish paper from New York(?) was calling to the assassination of the President and now, even the secret service disregard its responsibilities.
Some are even calling for the (wrong and distorted) Darwin's evolution law to justify the "disappearance" (read the let them die if we don't kill them) of the lower classes, the poor!
What kind of society, such extremists can bring to us? What kind of Christianity is this? What kind of sons can attack the health care of their own mothers?
If Mitt is a real manager who can deal with national and international problems he has to provide us with his own ideas, not the Ryan's "marvelous" budget!
And Barack should point out what he did not succeed to achieve and the reason of the failure!
Both should explain them in front of the public, openly and with no statements alike: you are wrong! (without further details).
Most of the Koch, etc don't want to be taxed? This is normal but still unfair and in some way dangerous to tax the only spending classes.
I am fed up hearing uttered statements with no support at all.
These type of insulting statements, uttered with no support at all, is, at the end of the day, a lack of respect of the American people, it is acknowledging that any BIG MONEY decides for them.
Insults are negative while we need positive people!
Further, I can find at no time when he or any member of the "Nation of Islam" (an organization which he founded and heads) openly threatened the POTUS nor any other government official. He is an in your face repulsive individual, mostly because his methods are far less than friendly and definitly abrasive. However, other than that, he conducts himself, and requires his cadre of , hiearchy, soliders and members to conduct themselves, in a respective manner. Albeit, not a manner which resonates well or is viewed as being respectful by people of other races who come in contact with him or any of his entourage.
There is a tendency by defenders of bad people to use a comparison between the person they are trying to defend with the past antics of someone else. Regardless of whether or not the two relate in manner or acts, such comparison does not erase the manner or acts of the person they are defending, it only serves to note that the defender is acknowledging his bad behavior, but trying to make it appear to be a less harmful act.
